  Six of us booked a table for a meal on New Year's Eve. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The time between courses was perfect - time enough for some chatting and laughter but far short of leaving us impatiently waiting for the next course. The staff were delightful, taking time to sort out any queries and to have a laugh with us. Based on our visit today I would thoroughly recommend going there for a meal .

  I arranged to meet my friend here for a pint and a bite to eat on Friday at 11.30. I was running late as traffic was mental going into yarm and pulled up to the Bluebell at 11:40. Some young lad in a white shirt and a stinking attitude cane strutting over and told me to move and that I couldn't park there as they didn't open until 12. I explained I was meeting someone and intended to eat there but hadn't realised it didn't open until 12 and would it be ok to remain parked up and wait for him to arrive and sit in the car until the place opened. No was the answer. As abrupt as that. Needless to say we didn't eat there and won't again.

  Fantastic service. Brilliant atmosphere inside and food was very good. Portion sizes good and prices about right for what you get. Ordered 2 steaks and 1 wasn't cooked as order and staff very happy to make a fresh one for us and added a bit of extra everything that came with the meal. Brilliant experience and would definitely recommend it anyone and will return again

  Just ate at the Blue Bell, hadn't been for a while due to moving so had a quick look to see if the menu was the same. Was very apprehensive about coming due to the recent reviews but I need not have. Our group ordered two large and two extra large parmos. Food was great, no issues. Staff are lovely too so will be back... FYI extra large parmos are HUGE!!!!
